Plenary, invited and contributed presentations are restricted to duration of 45, 30 and 15 minutes respectively, followed by 15 (plenary/invited presentations) and 5 (contributed presentations) minutes allocated for discussions. The workshop will take place in the “Wilhelm and Else Heraeus” Lecture Hall of the Physikzentrum which offers most advanced technical facilities including whiteboards and video conference equipment.
You can use a desktop computer (Windows XP, MS Office 2003, Adobe Acrobat 6.0) available in the lecture hall or your own notebook computer. To use the supplied computer, please bring your presentation on: USB Flash Drive or CD-ROM. The native resolution of two LCD data projectors is 1366 x 1024.
The lecture hall will be open during the workshop. You are requested to handover your presentation no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the session. Before giving your presentation, please announce your presence to the chair of your session no later than 10 minutes prior to the start of the session.
We have placed a greater emphasis on poster presentations at this meeting, since we feel discussions will be better facilitated without such a tight constraint on time. A two hour poster session is scheduled in the Wednesday evening of October 24th. The posters should remain in place for the remainder of the conference to maximize the exposure of the presented work. The maximum poster size is 120 cm width x 150 cm height.
