Overview

The second International Workshop on Theoretical and Computational Nano-Photonics (TaCoNa-Photonics 2009) took place in the "Physikzentrum Bad Honnef", Bad Honnef, Germany on October 28-30 2009.

82 participants from 20 countries have contributed to the workshop. Topics of the workshop were covered in 3 plenary, 12 invited, 21 contributed oral and 26 poster presentations.

Workshop proceeding has been published as a separate volume of the AIP Conference Proceedings series.

13 selected papers which were submitted by the authors of invited and contributed oral presentations have been published in the Special Issue of the Photonics and Nanostructures - Fundamentals and Applications (Elsevier). This Special Issue also includes paper of one of the winners of the Best Poster Awards.
