In the busy schedule of congresses, symposiums, conferences and workshops devoted completely or partially to nano-photonics it is a hard job to decide which one suits your needs at best. TaCoNa-Photonics' goal is to provide a forum where theoreticians and specialists in numerical methods from all branches of physics, engineering sciences and mathematics have a chance to discuss new challenges, new results and breakthroughs in nano-photonics. TaCoNa-Photonics workshop is organized for theoreticians and by theoreticians. But the language we are going to talk will be understandable for physicists and engineers independently of their background and current activities. We would like to position the workshop as a platform, where researchers working on the theoretical aspects of nano-photonics have a chance to listen and to understand requests from their colleagues doing real-life experiments and fabrication, best of whom will be regularly invited to present plenary talks. Our audience consists of professionals from academia and industry working in all areas of theoretical and computational photonics and optics of complex micro- and nano-structured materials, but also of everybody who are interested in the current progress of nano-photonics.
